How to playRules, spoilers & sources
A little knowledge goes a long way.
Play for Tribal Immunity
Represent Fern in a solo challenge between fictional tribes. Correct answers move Fern forward; mistakes and timeouts move Ember. First to three wins immunity, in at most five questions. The challenge ends as soon as either tribe wins. There are no random opponent rolls. Viewing limits, optional timing, saving and answer explanations still apply. Withdrawn questions give neither tribe a point; an unsettled result requires a rematch. This challenge does not enter the Daily record on this device or your ten-question Quick best.
Start a Survivor Quiz
Quick Quiz is the main ten-question quiz with four choices per question. Play at your own pace or add a 20-second timer. Every correct answer earns 100 points, followed by an explanation. Share your final score without revealing answers.
Optional: Island Run
For an extra survival challenge, choose Island Run. It has 3 Easy, 4 Medium and 3 Hard puzzles. Correct answers build a loot chain: 100, 150, 200, then 250 per answer. After each reveal, preview the next trial and decide whether to push on or make camp. A miss loses carried loot and one fire; banked loot stays safe. You have two camps: each banks your loot, restores one fire up to three and resets the reward chain. Reach the finish with fire left and 1,200 loot to win; the final answer banks remaining loot automatically. One idol removes two wrong choices or shields both loot and fire. A shielded miss earns nothing and resets the chain. Camps cannot revive an extinguished run; finish for practice and review. Practice points remain 100 per correct answer. Timing continues while answering; camp choices occur between questions. A withdrawn question reduces the target by 100 and replays loot and fire calculations. Older Fire Runs retain their saved rules.
Come Back Stronger
Quick Quiz favors unseen questions, with repeats when your filtered pool is small. Mixed real-show quizzes build from easier to harder questions, aiming for 3 Easy, 4 Medium and 3 Hard when eligible unseen questions allow. Your completed Quick result shows correct answers by topic and can suggest a new topic quiz with the same difficulty, timer and viewing range. You can also train missed questions in a new ten-question run with instant feedback, no timer, and the original spoiler limit. Withdrawn questions are excluded; training does not change your first Daily result.
How Daily Scoring Works
A fixed ten-question challenge resets at midnight in New York. Each correct answer earns 100 points plus up to 50 speed points. Your browser calculates the score and saves your first attempt on this device; replay for practice. There is no public leaderboard.
Start with What You Have Watched
Choose the last season and episode you have watched before starting. Season and episode limits exclude questions before selection. Difficulty and timing are optional settings. Today’s fixed Daily pack must fit your boundary. Current-season questions require a separate practice opt-in.
Question Sources and Corrections
Play with sourced questions from historical Survivor seasons. Every question includes an explanation and a source. Keep issue notes from feedback or your final review on this device. Question corrections are included in game updates, retaining their sources and correction history.
How does Tribal Challenge work?
You represent the fictional Fern tribe in a solo immunity challenge. Each correct answer gives Fern one point; a wrong answer or timeout gives Ember one point. First to three wins, and the challenge ends immediately when either tribe reaches three. At most five questions are played. Choose your viewing range and optional timer before starting. Withdrawn questions award neither tribe a point; if a correction leaves no valid winner, the result calls for a rematch. Tribal results do not count toward your local Daily record or your ten-question Quick Quiz best.
Does Trivia need a game server?
No. Questions, scoring, timing and saves run in your browser. The page and question bank need to finish loading first. Offline reopening is available when settings show Ready to play offline. Results stay on this device; they are not a verified public ranking.
Can I play now?
Yes. Tribal Challenge, Quick Quiz and Daily Challenge are playable with sourced Survivor history questions. Set your viewing limit before starting.
How does Island Run work?
Solve 3 Easy, 4 Medium and 3 Hard island puzzles. Consecutive correct answers earn 100, 150, 200, then 250 loot each. A miss loses your carried loot and one fire; banked loot stays safe. Two camps bank carried loot, restore one fire up to three and reset the reward chain. The final answer automatically banks any remaining loot. Bring home 1,200 loot with fire left to win. One idol can remove two wrong choices or shield both fire and carried loot. A shielded miss still resets the reward chain. Practice points stay separate. Saved older Fire Runs keep their original rules.
Will I see current-season spoilers?
Season and episode boundaries are checked before selecting questions, and current-season practice requires a separate opt-in. Daily uses historical seasons only.
Can I turn off the timer?
Yes. Quick Quiz is untimed by default. Turn on its timer in More quiz settings. Daily always allows 20 seconds per question. Speed scoring uses the time your answer is locked in on this device; it includes no network delay.
Can I save a quiz and come back?
Untimed Quick Quiz, including Tribal Challenge and Island Run, offers Save & exit. Resume the same quiz from its saved entry. Answers and results are saved on this device. An unfinished quiz expires 24 hours after it starts; clearing this site’s browser data removes your saves. Timed quizzes and Daily keep their original deadlines while you are away.
Can I replay the Daily Challenge?
Yes, for practice. Your first attempt is reserved when you start, so leaving and restarting cannot replace it. Your results are stored on this device. There is no public leaderboard or cloud sync.
Will another Quick Quiz repeat questions?
Tribal Challenge, Quick Quiz and Island Run prefer facts you have not seen on this device, within your viewing range and quiz settings. When that pool runs short, older questions return first. Missed-question training deliberately revisits your mistakes. Daily keeps its shared fixed set. Clearing this site’s browser data removes your history.
Can I choose a topic or a favorite season?
In the question bank, Quick Quiz can mix everything or focus on Castaways & finalists, Big moments, or Tribes & twists. Choose one season or mix your watched seasons. Your season and episode viewing limits still apply. Tribal Challenge needs five eligible facts; Quick Quiz needs ten. If your pool is too small, try all topics or all watched seasons; your viewing limit will not expand. Daily keeps its fixed shared set.
How are question errors handled?
Keep an issue note from an explanation or completed review. Notes stay on this device and are not sent to an editor. Published question updates retain sources and correction history and can void flawed questions in local results.
